Mustang Gold, Mustang Gold Megaways or Mustang Trail? How Pragmatic Play’s three mustang slots compare

Mustang Gold (RTP 96.53%) is a money-collect game: money symbols on reels 1–4 are paid when a collect symbol lands on reel 5. It has a four-level jackpot reveal and the highest stated cap of the three, 12,000x. Mustang Gold Megaways (96.46%) moves to 117,649 ways with fixed jackpots from 20x to 2,500x, a gamble option for extra free spins, and a 5,000x cap. How each one pays
Mustang Gold: collect and reveal
In Mustang Gold, money symbols worth 1x–35x pay only when a collect symbol lands on reel 5 on the same spin. As an illustrative example of our own: money of 5x, 8x and 20x collected on a ₱10 bet pays 33x, or ₱330. Collecting a Jackpot symbol starts a reveal in which three matching symbols win 50x, 100x, 200x or 1,000x.
Mustang Gold Megaways: gamble for spins
The Megaways version lowers single money values to 15x but adds four fixed jackpots from 20x to 2,500x. Before free spins begin, you can gamble up to five times for more spins, and the page says the chance of winning rises after each successful gamble. You can also lose the spins you gambled, so decide in advance whether to use it.
Mustang Trail: a meter instead of money
Mustang Trail has no money symbols. It gives eight free spins, and every third scatter collected during the round adds five more spins plus a wild fixed in place until the end.
RTP in pesos
On ₱10,000 of total bets, the expected long-run cost is ₱347 for Mustang Gold, ₱354 for the Megaways version and ₱396 for Mustang Trail, by our calculation. On a ₱10 bet, the stated caps are ₱120,000 for Mustang Gold and ₱50,000 for Megaways.

- For Megaways plus a gamble option, choose Mustang Gold Megaways.
