Baccarat Deluxe Pass mode: dealt cards do not create a wager
A baccarat hand can appear on screen even when no wager was placed. In PG Soft’s documented Baccarat Deluxe Pass mode, cards are dealt without a stake and no win is paid. The hand result and the existence of a paid bet are separate facts.

Which Pass rule are we discussing?
The source is PG Soft’s Baccarat Deluxe rules, version 1.1.R3841.1, dated 12 June 2019. This is a historical product document, not a claim that an operator currently offers that version. Its Pass description starts a hand without betting; the detailed explanation says no winnings are paid in that mode.
This matters when interpreting an old help screen, a demonstration or a cropped result. A button name from one product should not be assigned to another game merely because both are baccarat.
A result is not a receipt
Consider an invented record with three fields: mode Pass, wager 0, payout 0. The cards finish with Player ahead. The result answers which hand had the higher total. It does not create a Player wager after the cards have been dealt.
Writing “unpaid Player win” from that record would add a missing premise: a confirmed Player bet. Under the documented Pass rule, the zero payout is consistent with the zero wager. There is also no lost stake to refund.

By contrast, a confirmed paid wager needs its own amount, selection, round reference and applicable settlement rule. A picture showing only the final cards leaves those fields unknown. “No bet shown in this crop” is not the same finding as “the record confirms Pass.”
Pass, Repeat and Double have different jobs
The same product document describes Repeat and Double as controls connected to the previous wager, unlike Pass. That difference is a reason to identify the actual recorded action rather than infer it from where a button used to sit. This guide does not require trying the controls or placing a new bet.
The word free can also create confusion. A no-wager hand with no payout is not evidence of a redeemable bonus, complimentary cash or a return that has gone missing. A promotion would need separate terms; the Pass label supplies none of them.
How to read an incomplete record
Start with the exact title and document version. Then look for the mode and the confirmed stake in the same round. If the record does not show whether Pass was used, keep that uncertainty instead of assigning zero or inventing a paid bet. For an account question, the operator’s actual record is more useful than replaying the animation.
The game-variant comparison explains why shared branding does not make controls interchangeable. The table-game guide separates outcome labels from wager settlement. Visit jili777 for the wider topic library.
